2017 River City Brewing Growler Club

Hello River City Brewing
Growler Club Members!

It is that time of the year again. That wonderful time of the year where you get to sign up for another year of a River City Brewing Growler Club Membership!

Because our 2016 members were our Inaugural Members, we’re giving you first rights to sign up for a 2017 membership! From today (October 28th) to November 7th, we are keeping all Growler Club spots open for you all to renew your membership. Your renewal fee this year will be just $50, which will get you a “2017 River City Brewing Growler Club Member” Hoodie, a whole year of $10 Growler Club Growler fills in your 2016 Founding Member Growler and a $3 pint with each fill, as well as quarterly Exclusive Growler Club events (Attend-A-Brew Day, Imperial Release Sneak Peek, Sensory Analysis, etc.).

You only have two weeks to renew your membership before we open this up to the public for new memberships for $100. Registration for ALL memberships will close on November 20th for us to be able to get your new Hoodies in by the beginning of the year, at which time we’ll have a party for our awesome Growler Club Members!

We hope you join us again for a year of discounted growler fills and pints, and a year of being one of the select few a part of the River City Brewing Growler Club! Stop in the Tap Room any day to renew your membership, and enjoy a $1 when you do!

So Many October Events, So Little Time!

Upcoming Events for River City Brewing in October

October 8th: The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery Fundraiser

Come enjoy tastings from local breweries and pizza while supporting an incredible local charity: the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery! The Department of Children and Family Services is hosting an event at The Lincoln Center October 8 from 6-9 PM. The event includes a silent auction for ski tickets, movie tickets, restaurant gift cards and more. Entrance is $35, and all proceeds go to Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

October 9th: Spokane Bike Talk Happy Hour

Come for the Happy Hour, stay for the Bike Talk! It’s a chance to connect and an excuse to get together and talk bikes at the local and state level.

Come connect with your statewide bike organizations Sunday, Oct. 9 with Barb Chamberlain (Chief Strategic Officer); Tarrell Kullaway (Senior Director of Membership & Development), and Ed Ewing (Director of the Major Taylor Project).

You’ll get a brief overview of the merger of Washington Bikes and Cascade Bicycle Club and how both now work statewide with new roles. Learn a bit about Cascade's statewide work in bike education, school-based youth programming, and the Major Taylor Project and how the role of endorsing political candidates moved from Cascade to WA Bikes.

Local bike leaders will share updates on projects and programs. We’ll celebrate the wins (like state funding that extended the Centennial Trail) and talk about what’s needed to grow and improve bicycling for all.

Light snacks and a pitcher or two of social beverages provided by Washington Bikes and Cascade Bicycle Club with generous assistance from Gage and crew. Email to let us know you’re coming and help us plan refreshments. Many thanks to River City Brewing Owner Gage Stromberg for his support of the event!

October 15th: Evogreen East Eastoberfest Enduro Race

Eastoberfest is an enduro race at Beacon Hill in Spokane Washington, put on by Evergreen East. Racers will start at Camp Sekani and go to the towers, it will utilize most of the hill and consist of four stages, about 3,000 ft of climbing and will showcase the great variety of trails on Beacon.

Not the usual race courses at Beacon. There will be a mix of technical trails and flowing single track and a stage with jumps hit-able by all riders.

Like all enduro races, the stages will be revealed a few days before the race.

Registration Fees:

$45 members
$55 non-members (become a member today)

The funds from the race will go directly back to Evergreen East to support trail building and maintenance.
